It started out as Heroic Botanica. Thats another one that I've done but haven't tanked. I did that one as an orc, thanks to my trusty transporter. Best use of mining materials EVER.

Karksus and Arael decided that now would be a good time to do Heroic Black Morass.
Another one that I did once but never tanked.  So at this point I went and purchased my epic flying mount, zoomed around a bit, and then got summoned to the instance.

I'd rate this one as harder than SP/UB but easier than mana tombs. Everything got vendored (no enchanter at this point.) but it was still a fun instance.

I was worried about the last boss because he has that stun thing he does where I can't Dodge/Block/Parry and take a ton of damage, but it really wasn't so bad.

After Black Morass we headed out to Mana Tombs. I've tanked this one on heroic a few times now and I really like it. I'm not a big fan of those space mummies that do the immolate for like a billion damage. We actually got some usable loot here. Conga Rats Arael on [Bands of Negation].

Then we decided to end the night with a quick run through Heroic Underbog. By this point I'm pretty sure we were all super tired. I didn't take any screenshots of Underbog but I did get this one:

Bunch of suck ups! :P

I've done this instance as DPS once, and yesterday it was the daily. So I figured I might as well do it and learn how to tank it. It went well. There were a few deaths here and there, and the second boss took some getting used to. (I had to tank puppies while ranged tanked the actual boss. HAX!) Our healer had gotten disconnected at the start, but we were successful!

We one-shotted the final boss. He was a lot easier than I expected. Lots of people on forums and other warrior blogs that I read seem to recommend fire resistance and a few have said its "nearly impossible" without fire resistance, but I'm just not seeing it. I had a grand total of 0 fire resistance, and wasn't playing with an ideal group. Could just be me though!

In the end it was 19g in repairs, but it was totally worth it because I got 24 for turning in the daily quest and I was able to get a new chest piece through badges.

I love that guy's name. Apparently if I ever need a shadow priest for a heroic group I should poke him. He was pretty good and he gave me a free enchant for my new [Chestplate of Stoicism].

Well, as I mentioned in my previous post, last night I was to tank Karazhan for the first time ever. Well I've tanked some trash a few times...and I tanked Maiden in DPS gear once as 33/28 when our other tank died...But this is the first time I've ever actually tanked all the trash and most of the bosses and blah blah.

It was a little slow at the start but we got from Attumen to Chess (Skipped Illhoof and Netherspite)

I was slightly worried about Attumen, I know he's the arguably the easiest boss in there but I admit I was a little worried. That fight went without incident and I got a new engineering schematic out of it. [Schematic: Stabilized Eternium Scope]. I wasn't really expecting to get it, because my engineering skill isn't quite high enough yet (I mentioned that when I sent my tell for it) but I guess maybe there were no other engineers. I don't know. I'm happy anyway.

No, really, thats me tanking. I'm just a gnome because of an engineering transporter failure.

We made our way to Moroes. I'm pretty sure I pissed off the guild leader because I kept asking him about the pulls and making sure I was correct in which pulls were next and I was generally pretty annoying because I didn't want to screw up. Ok so I didn't really piss him off, Dray is awesome. I wasn't at all worried about Moroes, because my job there is easy. Its the other people that have harder jobs. I just tank moroes and have a huge head start on threat. No biggy.

I tried to get a picture of everything interesting but everytime I tried to take a screenshot Moroes actually landed his Gouge and so the best I could do was a picture of his foot. :(

From here it was on to the Maiden of Virtue. This fight I wasn't worried about at all, having tanked it in DPS gear once.

Then it was on to the Opera event. We got R&J, which is the easiest one I think. From there we ran around to the side door and headed on to Nightbane. Oh thats terrifying. I think Nightbane was what I was most excited about, but also most worried about. I hear he hits really hard. We killed him, but there was no sign of a breastplate or shield. He was actually a LOT easier to tank than I had thought. He does hit hard though!

From there it was on to Curator. That was incredibly easy. Barely worth mentioning even! Then to Shade of Aran, which doesn't really need a tank, and finally we went onwards to the Chess event.

Afterwards I put together a group for Heroic Underbog followed by Heroic Slave Pens. At first I didn't think it was going to get off the ground because there was a bit of emo/drama at the start. No worries though. We got to the end and what happened to drop after all this time? After all these many runs? After being exalted with CE for months and never once seeing it?

I now have 92 badges. If I do heroic SP and UB again I'll still be one badge short. Hrm. *ponder*
